Apostle Jimmie R. Denwiddie Sr. JP, was born in Forrest City, Arkansas U.S.A. to Mr. Rufus and Mrs. Ruth Denwiddie, both now deceased.
He was converted at the age of 12 in the Baptist Church where he was very active in Sunday School and the Church Choir. As a teenager he was introduced to Holiness and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, as the Spirit gave utterance. He was called of God into the ministry as a very young man.
While in Bible College he met and later married Maybelle A. Dickenson on December 28, 1974. Their union resulted in numerous blessings: one daughter Dhwanna, son in law Raymond Burrows Jr., two sons Jimmie Ray Jr., daughter in law Lindsey, Devray and four grandchildren, Kayla Marie and Evan Ray Denwiddie, Aviyah Diella and Raymond III (RJ) Burrows.
He is the Senior Pastor of New Creation Worship Center and carries the mantel of an Apostle. Apostle Denwiddie continues to walk in the healing and prophetic ministry and has ministered to many who have experienced their own personal healing, breakthrough and blessings. He also serves as spiritual ‘Covering” for Christ Community Church in Worcester, Massachusetts., and Royal Priests Ministries of Johannesburg, South Africa.
Apostle Denwiddie is the Founder and President of The Aerie Foundation, a non-profit, faith based organization whose mission is to initiate and support community-driven projects that address the social needs of the youth and elderly. Its flagship program, the Aerie Seniors’ Program provides quality, compassionate and affordable in-home care and respite programs to older adults and their caregivers. The Aerie’s Adventures Nursery & Pre-School also falls under the umbrella of the Aerie Foundation. Apostle also serves as a Panel Member of The Child and Family Court Judiciary.
